Alternative Careers Advice Workshops

If you are considering a transition into an alternative career path you will be aware that the process is often not straightforward. There are several differences when compared to securing a traditional medical post.

Your curriculum vita (CV) is the pivotal step in securing an interview. However you often need a concise CV of no more than 2 pages.

The interview is the next step between you and your chosen career. Once again differences exist: aptitude tests, formal quantitative tests, group exercises. All are assessed in detail to discover if your skills as a doctor are truly transferable outside of medicine.

Following from exceptional demand by previous candidates, we responded and created some unique workshops. These workshops are run by doctors for doctors, specifically to help through two essential steps:

How to write a non-medical curriculum vitae >>

How to succeed in a non-medical interview >>

Doctors who successfully secured their alternative career conduct the workshops. They understand the challenges for example: wanting to demonstrate all your transferable skills, whilst remaining industry specific in your CV. Several are now actively involved in recruiting graduates and experienced doctors. They are ideally placed to help you.

If you are thinking of applying for a job outside the sphere of traditional medical careers, these two unique workshops will help you.
